Responsibilities

Develop and enhance firmwide software systems used in research and production trading pipelines.
Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and survivability.
Build scalable, resilient, mission-critical distributed services.
Work collaboratively with researchers, portfolio managers, and technology teams.
Optimize data-intensive architectures in production while continuing to deliver new features.

Computer Science degree required.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred, particularly in storage technologies or distributed systems.
Extensive experience contributing to the development of complex software systems.
Deep expertise in distributed systems and hands-on experience building scalable, resilient, mission-critical services.
Strong experience with data-intensive architectures using Kafka, PostgreSQL, and/or BigQuery.
Track record of performance optimization and production reliability; financial services or high-performance systems experience preferred.
