Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance firmwide software systems used in research and production trading pipelines.
- Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and survivability.
- Build scalable, resilient, mission-critical distributed services.
- Work collaboratively with researchers, portfolio managers, and technology teams.
- Optimize data-intensive architectures in production while continuing to deliver new features.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree required.
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred, particularly in storage technologies or distributed systems.
- Extensive experience contributing to the development of complex software systems.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and hands-on experience building scalable, resilient, mission-critical services.
- Strong experience with data-intensive architectures using Kafka, PostgreSQL, and/or BigQuery.
- Track record of performance optimization and production reliability; financial services or high-performance systems experience preferred.
