Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle and PL/SQL applications, including packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
- Work with Banner CIS, Oracle Forms, Oracle databases, and PL/SQL file I/O processes.
- Analyze, support, and maintain existing applications and legacy code.
- Understand enterprise business processes and identify opportunities to optimize them through technology.
- Work with batch processes, interfaces, and online enterprise systems in UNIX environments.
- Use Oracle development IDEs and UNIX scripting and utility tools.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing with Oracle and at least 5 years of solid PL/SQL experience.
- Experience with Banner CIS, Oracle Forms, and Oracle databases; Oracle Database 19c experience is preferred.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL Developer, or T.O.A.D.
- Experience working in UNIX environments and with sh or ksh scripting.
- Experience with UNIX utilities including vi/emacs, awk, diff, find, grep, sed, and tar.
- English proficiency is required.
- Preferred experience includes Oracle Reports or Oracle Reports 19, Oracle Forms 19c, AIX, Pro*C, C or C++, Pro*COBOL, and COBOL syntax.
