Base Salary
$200k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Construct optimized data pipelines for running machine-learning models.
- Evolve the data-engine architecture to scale high-fidelity labels, reduce annotation costs, and accelerate ML iteration cycles.
- Build and optimize edge and cloud systems that run perception models and ingest video data.
- Integrate LLMs, VLMs, and multimodal foundation models for labeling, quality assurance, and data discovery.
- Build MLOps tooling that provides pipeline insight and visibility to stakeholders.
- Leverage software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
- Interact with DoD customers during field events to understand use cases, requirements, and triage needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure, data-centric AI approaches, and large-scale GPU jobs.
- Experience creating or working on microservices and/or databases for data-oriented software.
- U.S. citizenship, legally required for the role, and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
- Preferred: full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Python, Golang, or similar technologies.
- Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Opensearch, and Postgres.
- Preferred: direct experience with foundation models, including LLMs and VLMs, for data automation.
- Preferred: background in autonomous driving or robotics perception.
- Preferred: experience with active learning, auto-labeling, or human-in-the-loop ML systems.
