Base Salary
$141k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own the technical roadmap for mission-critical web and desktop applications.
- Develop robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend code using React, TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
- Contribute to cross-platform Electron-based desktop applications.
- Lead engineering architecture and design reviews and provide design feedback through code reviews.
- Mentor and grow engineers while fostering a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to define integrated solutions.
- Improve engineering processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and long-term architectural planning.
- Build applications that meet high standards for availability, latency, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience developing large-scale, consumer-facing web applications.
- Expertise in TypeScript and React.
- Experience with Electron for cross-platform desktop applications.
- Experience working with cloud-based APIs and infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
- Proficiency in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing approaches.
- Deep familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows using GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience optimizing web application performance through techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and reducing Time to Interactive.
