Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to design and implement scalable, high-quality systems.
- Identify requirements and develop solutions that influence commercial decisions.
- Manage project lifecycles independently from requirements gathering through delivery.
- Write, maintain, and optimize data feeds supporting analytics platforms and pricing models.
- Develop and evolve Vitol’s MIS platforms.
- Build rapid dashboards and present complex data visually to varied audiences.
Requirements
- Relevant university degree.
- At least three years of full-stack experience in C# or Python, with solid knowledge of ORM and API frameworks.
- At least three years of full-stack TypeScript and React development experience.
- Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or Pydantic.
- Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing relational SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle.
- Experience with Streamlit, Plotly Dash, or React for rapid dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of code review, version control, and issue-tracking practices.
- Proficiency in both C# and Python is preferred.
- Oracle/PL SQL development experience, including stored procedures, is preferred.
- Strong English communication, initiative, prioritization, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively across organizational and cultural boundaries.
