Responsibilities
- Develop changes independently based on functional requirements from the technical business analyst.
- Lead solution building and validation for analysis and design workshops across different streams.
- Specify new functionality with developers and users and close FRS, TSD, and use case documentation.
- Act as a functional subject matter expert and investigate requirement and solution gaps with product architect support.
- Lead implementation projects through build, test, and go-live stages.
- Support developers during implementation, including planning and testing.
- Participate in regional and global projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or banking, or equivalent working experience.
- 7–10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in technology.
- 5–7 years of experience with core banking platforms or the wealth management domain.
- Strong knowledge of Avaloq Accumulator and Deccumulator (AQDQ) products and their lifecycle.
- Significant experience with Avaloq IDE ICE, particularly changes involving AQDQ business types such as STEX, ASSET, and SECEVT2.
- Experience with Avaloq output stream development using the LETTER business type is a plus.
- Mandatory implementation experience with Avaloq Banking Suite and ACP functional and parameterization knowledge.
- Basic financial understanding of FX, money markets, equities, derivatives, and related front-to-back operational workflows.
- Experience with wealth management, order management systems, or execution management systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different technologies and work effectively under multiple deadlines.
- Avaloq certification training is preferred.
- Knowledge of market data, financial models, Bloomberg interfaces, FIX protocol, Assentis, and Omgeo is preferred.
- Technical experience with Java, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, React, Angular, Node.js, and Git is relevant.
