Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents and their supporting harnesses using Python.
- Build reusable agent capabilities, tools, and integrations for engineering systems and internal knowledge.
- Develop agentic workflows for coding, testing, code review, and other software development lifecycle activities.
- Prototype, validate, and scale new AI capabilities and automation approaches.
- Design context management, orchestration, verification, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms for reliable workflows.
- Measure agent usage and value through data and feedback, and continuously improve the systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, product, and data teams to understand workflows, drive adoption, and identify automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Approximately eight years of experience designing and building complex backend software systems.
- Strong software engineering skills and production experience with Python.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, or platforms that enable others to use AI-powered capabilities.
- Strong understanding of context management, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation or verification for agentic AI.
- Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, MCPs, internal tools, codebases, and other engineering systems.
- Experience taking technical ideas from experimentation or proof of concept into robust, scalable solutions.
- Understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture for reliable AI-powered systems.
- Strong product thinking and ability to connect technical solutions to measurable outcomes.
- Strong experimentation, communication, and collaboration skills, including minimum C1 English proficiency.
