Responsibilities
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in the prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks and make directed adjustments, modifications, and replacements.
- Interact with users, customers, and other developers as part of the Software Engineering directorate.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an associate or four-year degree program and graduate after August 2027.
- Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar STEM discipline.
- Be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and program special access.
- Preferred qualifications include a cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher, previous internship or co-op experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and professional, community, or extracurricular activities.
