Responsibilities
- Provide rapid production support and resolve escalated user queries and complex technical issues.
- Participate in major incident management calls, identify root causes, and restore service.
- Communicate clearly with users, senior stakeholders, and related technology, compliance, RTB, BTB, and project teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency in application support.
- Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure while minimizing operational disruption.
- Manage risk, strengthen controls, and follow applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and codes of conduct.
- Support releases, including occasional weekend coverage and flexible shift work.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience.
- Experience providing production support and resolving incidents, problems, and escalated user queries.
- Linux/Unix experience and proficiency with Unix commands for deployment, automation, and housekeeping.
- Experience with Java applications, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, including queries, tuning concepts, and data analysis.
- Experience with at least two middleware technologies among JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and GlassFish.
- Experience with microservices, OpenShift, APIs, and public cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ITRS, or Observe.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as TWS or Autosys.
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitLab, and with Kafka and Kibana/eSaaS.
- Programming or scripting skills in languages such as Shell, Java, Python, ML, AI, or GenAI are preferred.
- Ability to manage priorities, communicate with senior stakeholders, and work effectively during shifts, releases, and occasional weekends.
