Base Salary
$179k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Build robust cloud-based solutions and deliver responsible GenAI use cases for internal developer and financial services initiatives.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, coding standards, and design patterns with architects and engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain software using languages including Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Improve system performance, reduce technical debt, and troubleshoot issues in distributed cloud environments.
- Provide technical leadership across engineering teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to technology communities and long-term strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7 or more years coding with multiple listed languages, database and cloud experience, open-source contributions, frontend framework experience, API development, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, AI coding tools, mentoring, observability, and leadership of cross-functional technical initiatives.
