Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Security Engineering and Cybersecurity teams on strategic security initiatives.
- Partner with engineering teams, SREs, and QA teams to ensure products are secure at delivery and implement security capabilities.
- Build and maintain Product Security tools and services, including integrations with CI/CD processes.
- Report security KPIs and drive improvements in engineering teams’ security posture.
- Contribute to security education and advocate for DevSecOps and application security practices.
- Review IaaS/PaaS cloud architecture roadmaps and recommend baseline security controls and hardening requirements.
- Support threat modeling for NIQ products.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of technical, hands-on experience in application security, software development, or a DevOps environment.
- Require knowledge of web technologies, web security, and common vulnerabilities such as SQL injection and cross-site scripting.
- Require strong coding experience, preferably in Python or a similar programming language.
- Require experience deploying containers with CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins, Terraform, or Helm.
- Bonus experience includes building serverless cloud functions, knowledge of Cloud Workload Protection, and using SAST and DAST tools.
- Security conference, training, learning, or professional association engagement is highly desired.
- Ability to think like a hacker is desired.
