Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
- Translate business requirements into scalable applications, user interfaces, workflows, and business processes.
- Develop Oracle APEX pages, forms, interactive reports, interactive grids, dashboards, dynamic actions, validations, processes, and shared components.
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, complex SQL queries, data models, and database objects.
- Build integrations between Oracle APEX, Oracle Fusion, external systems, and third-party services using REST APIs, web services, ORDS, and related technologies.
- Implement application security, authentication, authorization, access controls, and role-based security.
- Optimize application and database performance and troubleshoot application, database, integration, and performance issues.
- Create technical documentation, application specifications, data models, integration documentation, deployment procedures, and user guides.
- Participate in Oracle Database and Oracle APEX upgrades, patches, testing, and enhancement projects.
- Develop and execute unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Support application deployments across development, test, and production environments and provide technical guidance on Oracle APEX and Oracle Database development.
- Support application modernization and digital transformation initiatives by replacing manual processes and legacy applications with Oracle APEX solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Oracle technologies, including significant Oracle APEX development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database development.
- Experience with Oracle APEX interactive reports, interactive grids, forms, dashboards, dynamic actions, validations, processes, shared components, and application security.
- Strong experience with Oracle database design, data modeling, stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, views, and query optimization.
- Experience integrating Oracle APEX applications with Oracle Fusion and external systems using REST APIs, web services, ORDS, and other integration technologies.
- Knowledge or experience with Oracle Integration Cloud is advantageous.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion applications and modules including HCM, Project Accounting, Inventory, Supply Chain, Projects, Revenue Management, AR, AP, and GL.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise business processes and workflows throughout the application development lifecycle.
- Experience with source control, testing, deployment, production support, application security, authentication, authorization, and secure development practices.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful services, relational database concepts, and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and multi-project support skills.
