Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technology requirements and translate them into Murex functional and technical solutions.
- Review, standardize, simplify, redesign, configure, and enhance Murex Front Office and pre-trade functionality.
- Configure currency pairs, archiving groups, curves, fixings, trade lifecycle processes, FX spot-date rolls, GOM, workflows, and end-of-day processing.
- Contribute to Murex software development, interfaces, integration, migration, upgrades, and platform-change initiatives.
- Perform unit testing, develop test scenarios, and prepare software releases for production deployment.
- Troubleshoot Front Office configuration, workflow, data, batch, and environmental issues and support end users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams and liaise with Murex as the platform vendor.
- Produce functional, configuration, and technical documentation and lead knowledge-transfer activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience delivering Murex solutions in banking, capital markets, or financial services.
- Significant hands-on experience with Murex Front Office modules, pre-trade configuration, Front Office workflows, troubleshooting, and solution design.
- Demonstrated Murex development experience involving integration, migration, or upgrade delivery, preferably supporting an FX Cash business or technology environment.
- Strong understanding of front-to-back banking processes, financial products, derivatives, risk, profit and loss, and the Murex trade lifecycle.
- Experience with Murex workflows, transformations, interfaces, XSLT, MSL, end-of-day processing, batch analysis, reporting, data models, and queries.
- Experience with Murex FINDB, Datamart, market-data functionality, performance monitoring, logging, memory allocation, environmental troubleshooting, and system interfaces.
- Strong UNIX and SQL skills, including scripting, and experience across the full software development life cycle.
- Strong documentation, communication, configuration-assessment, solution-maintenance, and knowledge-transfer abilities.
- College or university degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Finance, or another relevant numerically focused discipline.
