Responsibilities
- Analyze system requirements, perform functional decomposition, and define software architectures.
- Design and implement ATS software solutions using C/C++, Python, and Java.
- Create and maintain software documentation, including impact analyses, Software ICDs, and Software Design Specifications.
- Perform design reviews, code reviews, and self-testing of software modules.
- Develop test cases for software verification and validation.
- Support project and change management activities, including raising change requests.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned.
- Provide support for site investigations and testing activities.
- Collaborate with system architects, project managers, verification teams, and other cross-functional groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Control System and Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience or understanding of railway software development or secure software development is preferred.
- Knowledge of C/C++, Python, Java, and/or C#.
- Familiarity with software design principles and system requirements analysis.
- Good oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage tasks efficiently.
