Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, test, and deliver software components across the AI architecture.
- Design agent architectures, including prompts, tools, skills, multi-agent orchestration, state management, communication, handoffs, error recovery, and memory systems.
- Evaluate technical approaches and implement foundation-model integrations, fine-tuning pipelines, RAG, custom model integrations, and transformer-based model adaptations.
- Design and build AI context layers, ingestion pipelines, context graphs, embeddings, vector storage, semantic and hybrid retrieval, reranking, context assembly, and conversational memory.
- Build evaluation strategies and harnesses measuring agent and system accuracy, relevance, and faithfulness.
- Develop reusable components and optimize model usage, inference, caching, resource utilization, latency, throughput, and cost.
- Implement security and Responsible AI controls, including guardrails, prompt-injection defenses, PII handling, access controls, versioning, audit logging, lineage tracking, and model documentation.
- Build observability through logging, tracing, monitoring, alerting, and cost tracking.
- Produce architecture decision records, blueprints, design documents, integration specifications, component diagrams, and data-flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, application developers, and stakeholders in client delivery engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade advanced AI solutions using agentic, generative, and classical AI/ML with at least one cloud vendor.
- Practical experience in agentic AI, LLM, and generative AI.
- Strong Python coding ability.
- Solid foundation in architecting and operationalizing LLM-driven application architecture patterns.
- Professional experience coding engineering, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP solutions and applications.
- Several years of hands-on industry experience as a machine learning architect designing big-data, machine-learning, and large-scale analytical engineering solutions.
