Base Salary
$165k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build features and core platform components for Amazon Quick’s generative AI enterprise assistant.
- Design and deliver large-scale, scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant software systems and services.
- Solve complex engineering challenges supporting machine-learning-powered customer solutions.
- Lead strategic technical projects with significant business impact.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on complex software issues.
- Develop services that unify enterprise data and support AI-powered productivity workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Machine learning systems experience is preferred but not required.
