Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud components and microservices written in Golang or Python.
- Participate in feature analysis, design, scoping, estimation, and technical breakdown activities.
- Troubleshoot development and production environments.
- Write automated test cases and continuously deliver small batches of working software.
- Introduce solutions that improve application performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate in a scrum-driven team to increase velocity and remove impediments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from a recognized and accredited institution.
- 2–5 years of professional experience developing software with Golang and Java in Google Cloud or AWS environments.
- Strong understanding of data structures, functional design, object-oriented design, and object-oriented design patterns.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Understanding of scrum methodologies, development task scoping, and estimation.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, collaboration, and a can-do mindset.
