Responsibilities
- Contribute to customer implementations at any or all phases of the application lifecycle.
- Deliver customer classroom-based training to architect, developer, and operations roles.
- Collaborate with a wider delivery team comprising consulting engineers, project managers, and account teams.
- Build a personal MongoDB brand as a trusted advisor to guide clients.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to influence the MongoDB product roadmap.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development, consulting, or technical support experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, or Go.
- Experience with databases like MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Linux diagnostics and tuning; Windows tuning knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of enterprise-scale software architectures and application development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- High motivation for a role that combines technical and customer-management dimensions.
- Confidence in speaking and presenting in collaborative customer settings.
- Willingness to travel frequently for short trips to customer sites.
