Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing for web applications.
- Use Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript and testing frameworks to enhance automation solutions.
- Integrate automated tests with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI pipelines.
- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA.
- Analyze test results, provide reports, and improve test coverage, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with manual testers, developers, and product owners and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Mentor junior testers and work independently on quality-focused testing activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in automated testing.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, or Jest.
- Knowledge of the Page Object Model and automation design patterns.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC and familiarity with Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Preferred experience includes API testing with Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright API; BDD with Cucumber; cross-browser testing; Docker or cloud testing platforms; and basic SQL for data validation.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
