Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of automated security testing to validate secure coding practices.
- Create and deliver secure development training.
- Participate in application security reviews and threat modeling.
- Perform application security vulnerability management.
- Support the bug bounty program.
- Facilitate the preparation of secure releases.
- Consult with engineering teams on application security best practices.
- Drive security projects from ideation to implementation.
- Mature the security program using the NIST CSF.
- Assist in incident response activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with application security.
- 1-2 years of experience in software development and mobile security.
- Familiarity with common security libraries and controls.
- Experience with OWASP and security analysis tools.
- Basic understanding of network and web protocols.
- Experience in vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Familiarity with cloud security controls.
- Experience working with developers.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Preference for knowledge of programming languages like TypeScript, Go, Python, Java, Kotlin.
