Responsibilities
- Architect and ship secure, high-performance C#/.NET microservices for Audit and Reporting services.
- Ensure audit events are reliably captured, stored, and surfaced across the platform.
- Build and improve reporting capabilities that turn audit data into actionable customer insights.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL data stores and help modernize high-volume audit data storage and querying with Azure Data Explorer.
- Own Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment automation and reliability.
- Participate in code and design reviews with emphasis on performance, data integrity, and maintainability.
- Investigate production issues with Datadog and conduct root cause analyses and post-incident reviews.
- Collaborate with product managers and architects on the Audit and Reporting roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of professional software engineering experience with C#/.NET and microservices architectures.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
- Working familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Understanding of data integrity, security, and performance considerations in distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with Azure Data Explorer, Kusto Query Language, or other columnar/analytics data stores.
- Preferred experience with Terraform for Azure and observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.
- Preferred exposure to identity and access management, audit logging, compliance-driven systems, data-store migrations, legacy-system re-architecture, and Agile software development environments.
