Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain internal cloud, PaaS, Kubernetes, and pipeline infrastructure platforms.
  • Design and create monitoring systems that reduce manual intervention in daily web operations.
  • Respond to platform incidents in an on-call rotation, including off-hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Develop automation code for detecting, remediating, and preventing recurring operational problems.
  • Create automation tools that help initial responders resolve easily addressed issues.
  • Contribute to infrastructure design and improve system resiliency.

Requirements

  • Expert understanding of cloud operational duties.
  • Working knowledge of vSphere, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and Concourse pipelines.
  • Ability to write high-quality automation code in one or more programming languages.
  • Strong awareness of security needs and best practices.
  • Fluent English.
  • Familiarity with XML gateways, API technology, and F5 load balancers is preferred.
  • Experience with multiple cloud vendors is a plus.
