Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement automated build and release pipelines for on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Create and manage Azure DevOps Services build and release definitions for lower-environment and production deployments.
- Set up continuous integration and continuous delivery capabilities.
- Perform build and deployment activities across development, test, UAT, staging, and production environments.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Assist with branching and merging for parallel development requirements.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to deliver builds continuously to environments.
- Liaise between application development and infrastructure teams to establish and support application infrastructure.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for software development lifecycle tools supporting testing, monitoring, integration, release, and scheduling.
- Monitor configuration changes and asset usage to improve capacity and performance.
- Participate in system performance tuning and technical troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Git repositories, including security and policies.
- Experience administering and supporting Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with ARM, Terraform, or a similar infrastructure-as-code automation platform.
- Strong scripting skills and experience automating workloads with Azure CLI and PowerShell.
- Experience monitoring critical on-premise and cloud assets.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Experience working with or supporting application development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred Azure software development or DevOps background.
- Preferred DevOps Engineer Expert certification (AZ-400).
