Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deliver complete solutions across design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations.
- Advise immediate management on project-level issues.
- Guide junior engineers.
- Make technical decisions with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Apply technical best practices and internal conventions.
- Develop backend services using Python and relevant frameworks.
- Contribute to large-scale, high-performance distributed systems and operational resilience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong foundation in programming concepts and data structures.
- Experience with backend development using Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Understanding of web services and Service-Oriented Architecture principles.
- Exposure to version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, GCP, Azure, and Terraform.
- Preferred hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, Redis, and event-driven messaging systems.
- Preferred experience implementing CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
- Open-source contributions, developer-community participation, and awareness of payment-processing compliance standards are preferred.

- Expected base pay ranges from $130,500 to $212,850 annually depending on location.
