Senior Platform Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications and production Kubernetes clusters in AWS.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable and secure applications.
- Administer and optimize GitHub source-code repositories and workflows.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve developer toolsets and streamline SDLC processes.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and implement security, reliability, and performance best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver platform solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Golang or Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub, and AWS cloud services.
- Good networking knowledge and strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred experience includes GitHub runners, other CI/CD tools and platforms, Java, cloud security best practices, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Backstage, kOps, and Cilium CNI.
- AWS or Kubernetes certification is a plus.
