Base Salary
$175k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and own multi-tenant Azure and AWS infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Lead the infrastructure-as-code strategy across environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Crossplane, or equivalent tools.
- Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines that support reliable feature delivery across engineering teams.
- Drive cloud cost optimization and performance engineering across AWS and Azure services.
- Own cloud infrastructure security and partner with compliance teams on SOC2 and StateRamp adherence.
- Establish observability practices with Grafana, Prometheus, and Azure Monitoring, and lead incident response and post-mortems.
- Advise engineering, product, and security teams on scalable infrastructure decisions.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise technical and operational standards across the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- 3+ years of experience running Kubernetes at scale in production on public cloud environments, with Azure preferred.
- Experience designing and managing AWS, Azure, or GCP infrastructure for SaaS applications, including managed Kubernetes clusters, databases, networking, and RBAC management.
- Hands-on production experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Crossplane.
- Strong command of CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security, including encryption, RBAC/IAM, and network security architecture.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, Java, or Ruby.
- Experience with AI-driven developer tooling, workflow automation, or agent-based engineering systems.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD or other GitOps-based deployment frameworks.
- Experience operating in regulated environments and working with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or StateRamp.
