Base Salary
$141k - $221k/yr
Responsibilities
- Review system designs and implementations, consult with engineers, identify security issues, and ensure remediation
- Propose solutions and architectural improvements that address classes of security vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement cloud and infrastructure security architecture and contribute to security strategy and roadmap plans
- Select, design, develop, implement, and manage automated security testing tools including cloud security posture management and image vulnerability scanners
- Integrate security solutions into CI pipelines to shift security left
- Implement Infrastructure as Code scanning and policy enforcement for Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar deployment tools
- Coordinate and participate in penetration tests of cloud services
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security, SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and ecosystem tools such as Helm and ArgoCD
- Production experience with AWS services including AWS Organizations, AWS Identity and Access Management, SSO, IAM, SCPs, VPCs, Elastic Load Balancers, CloudTrail, and Security Groups
- Proficiency with Terraform
- Experience developing custom actions or workflows in GitHub or GitLab
- Understanding of cloud security vulnerabilities, defense techniques, AWS security practices, and current threats
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language such as Python or Go
- Familiarity with policy management tools such as OPA or Kyverno
- SRE experience, Scala or JVM ecosystem experience, observability tool experience, AWS EKS, Panther SIEM, or operational Jupyter experience are bonuses
