Base Salary
$130k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based containerized applications, including deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Build and improve Infrastructure as Code automation for standardized and reliable environments.
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines that improve developer productivity and support zero-downtime deployments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and compliance best practices.
- Partner with engineering teams on architecture, deployment improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate tools and continuously improve DevOps workflows and practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Comfort with scripting or programming in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills suited to a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience with FluxCD or similar GitOps tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with SOC 2 or HIPAA security and compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Previous startup experience is preferred.
