Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time market data and analytics systems using KDB+/q for trading and analytics platforms.
- Own technical delivery and collaborate with Traders, Quants, and Global Technology teams on high-performance, low-latency solutions.
- Perform systems analysis, application design, construction, testing, debugging, implementation, and operational support.
- Develop and apply coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, model development, and new or revised application implementations.
- Monitor and control all phases of the development lifecycle and provide user and operational support.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and assist with customer-facing systems.
- Assess and escalate risk, maintain regulatory and policy compliance, and safeguard the firm, clients, and assets.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of working experience with KDB+/q.
- Deep understanding of KDB+ databases and the q programming language.
- Strong skills in Q/KDB+, Java, and Bash scripting.
- Good understanding of Linux/UNIX environments.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially under production load.
- Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.

- Primary location salary range: $94,300.00–$141,500.00 per year.
