Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software across the frontend and backend stack.
- Expand APIs and enhance frontend functionality using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including definition, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with UX, Product, and Data Science teams.
- Participate in team planning, demos, retrospectives, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
- Deliver high-quality software iteratively and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong bilingual proficiency in written, virtual, and in-person English and Spanish interactions.
- At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with API design and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB and with data modeling.
- Knowledge of software-testing principles.
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Preferred: familiarity with cybersecurity, networking, and Kubernetes.
