Responsibilities

Build and operate a FastAPI-based platform for trading, analytics, risk, and back-office workflows.
Build internal AI tools, including Snowflake-based agents for natural-language exploration of firm data.
Design scalable APIs for trades, positions, exposures, and investor accounting.
Develop performant and usable data services on Snowflake.
Integrate AWS Bedrock and Snowflake Cortex LLM capabilities into applications, conversational interfaces, and document workflows.
Connect BI tools, AWS services, and internal platforms across the application stack.
Implement Redis Queue background-processing pipelines for reporting and asynchronous workflows.
Define and manage infrastructure with Terraform and AWS.
Maintain code quality through testing, CI/CD, and coding standards.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex data needs into reliable systems.

Around 5+ years of software engineering experience.
Strong Python skills and experience building production APIs.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with data warehouses; Snowflake experience is a plus.
Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code; Terraform is preferred.
Familiarity with Docker, Redis, and background job systems.
Interest in or experience with LLMs and AI features, including prompting, RAG, and agents.
Experience with relational databases and ORMs, including PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy.
Strong testing practices and a focus on code quality.
Clear communication skills and an appreciation for simple, maintainable code.
