Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL queries, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Implement application functionality changes in systems connected to Oracle.
- Analyze requirements and determine which application and database components need modification.
- Diagnose errors and performance issues, identify root causes, and propose reliable solutions.
- Review the impact of changes, perform testing, and prevent regressions.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and functional team members on solution validation and documentation.
Requirements
- Solid, demonstrable experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience creating or modifying end-to-end application functionality involving Oracle, including work beyond the database layer.
- Ability to diagnose complex problems, explain technical decisions, and implement solutions autonomously.
- Experience reviewing and improving queries or processes with performance issues.
- Knowledge of version control, testing, and technical documentation.
- Clear communication and willingness to collaborate with technical and functional teams.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Residence in a Latin American country.
- Frontend, backend, or a specific Oracle ecosystem framework or tool is not required.
