Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product experiences across backend services, data pipelines, and frontend interfaces.
- Build, scale, and maintain containerized microservices, orchestration pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Develop and improve observability for systems and infrastructure at scale.
- Partner with clinical experts and engineers to build scalable, clinically accurate systems that surface actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues from alert through root cause and prevention.
- Apply first-principles thinking, improve fragile or over-engineered systems, and take ownership of the systems built.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building high-quality code and infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, including microservices, event-driven architecture, or pipeline orchestration.
- 2+ years of experience with AWS or Google Cloud.
- Hands-on full stack experience with backend services using Python, Node, or similar technologies and frontend interfaces using React, TypeScript, and CSS.
- Familiarity with containerization, cloud-native deployment patterns, and scalable architectural patterns.
- Strong debugging skills across multiple services, including log analysis, hypothesis formation, and production issue resolution.
- Curiosity about generative AI advances and thoughtful judgment about the use of AI tools.
- Experience in healthcare, clinical data, or value-based care is preferred.
- Experience with Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, Firestore, BigQuery, or other GCP data services is preferred.
