Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define test approaches and risk coverage for UI, API, data, and full-stack features.
- Build, extend, review, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and the Page Object Model.
- Plan and execute manual and automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, end-to-end, performance, and reliability testing.
- Investigate intermittent failures, distinguish product defects from test instability and environment issues, document defects, verify fixes, and drive resolution.
- Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, transformations, business logic, migrations, schema changes, backfills, and application behavior.
- Create reusable test data sets and database setup and teardown routines for reliable automated runs.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve parallel execution, reliability, speed, and maintainability.
- Use AI tools and MCP tooling for test-case generation, test-data creation, defect analysis, browser interaction, exploratory testing, and script generation.
- Partner with QA managers, developers, and product managers on requirements, acceptance criteria, design reviews, and testability concerns.
- Mentor less experienced QA engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software quality assurance experience, including at least 5 years in test automation.
- Strong Java programming skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable, and reviewable test code.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and the Page Object Model.
- Experience designing or significantly refactoring an automation framework rather than only writing tests within an existing framework.
- Strong API testing and SQL skills, including validation against relational databases.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling and version control, with experience running automation reliably in pipelines.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills with experience driving complex issues to root cause.
- Preferred experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, security-focused products, ETL or data pipelines, large-scale or NoSQL data stores, performance or load testing, cloud environments, containerized test infrastructure, MCP servers, or agent-based testing workflows.
- Ability to collaborate, mentor others, learn and teach new tools, and work with ownership in a fast-paced environment.
