Responsibilities
- Develop and test intuitive, cloud-based full-stack applications from user interface through API and backend services.
- Translate high-fidelity designs into production-ready React and TypeScript frontend code and integrate them with Python or Node.js services.
- Design product layouts, application logic, and interactive user flows.
- Create Figma wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes for complex technical workflows.
- Maintain design-system consistency, document UI component libraries, and support pixel-perfect deployment.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, identify issues, and provide feedback to improve software reliability, scalability, security, and usability.
- Collaborate with software development teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 2 years of UI/UX experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing production-grade software in a professional environment.
- At least 5 years of full-stack experience with React on the frontend and Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript and/or Python on the backend.
- At least 5 years of experience designing, building, securing, and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Experience with Angular, JavaScript, React, HTML, or CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience writing unit and integration tests for server-side and client-side applications, including tools such as Jest, Mocha, or PyTest.
- Experience with Git workflows and DevOps automation approaches using GitHub or GitLab.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with medium-to-large distributed computing environments, software and system optimization, performance bottleneck removal, and scalable data-processing architectures.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field is preferred, with 3 years of equivalent industry experience accepted in lieu of the degree.
