Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems including APIs, data pipelines, and workflow engines.
- Develop across the full product stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces, using AI-assisted development.
- Translate customer pain points into product requirements and shipped software.
- Engage directly with customers to understand problems and validate solutions.
- Apply product and design judgment to shape what is built and how it works.
- Select and implement appropriate technologies and architectures while contributing to a fast-moving team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of backend or full-stack engineering experience with strong system design, API, and data modeling fundamentals.
- Hands-on cloud design and implementation experience, preferably with AWS, plus familiarity with varied cloud technologies and architectures.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js or similar modern server-side languages; Python is a plus.
- Fluency with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or similar tools.
- Strong product instinct and comfort engaging directly with customers.
- Experience in or strong curiosity about security domains including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, MDR, or incident response workflows.
- Excellent software development, problem-solving, communication, and customer collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience with workflow automation, SOAR platforms, or security orchestration is preferred.
- Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow engines is preferred.
- Product-facing or customer-facing engineering experience and design sensibility are preferred.
