Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality for the core TRANSAXpay payments-processing platform.
- Support new systems and enhancements to existing real-time transaction-processing systems.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new features do not affect existing functionality.
- Contribute to migration and modernization from data-center-hosted to cloud-hosted services.
- Translate requirements into well-structured, bug-free code.
- Provide coaching and support to team members and mentor more junior engineers.
- Participate in design and code peer reviews.
- Use security scanning tools and address identified issues.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Manager.
- Proficiency in C, C++, DDL, and SQL.
- Basic IP networking knowledge.
- Knowledge of the Payment Card Industry, including EMV and UKCA (APACS) standards.
- Ability to communicate clearly with globally distributed team members.
- Strong problem-solving, innovative thinking, proactive ownership, and accountability.
- Interest in Global Payments products and the payments industry.
