Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud-based solutions and secure platforms for complex enterprise clients.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
- Design and manage Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration solutions.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools.
- Automate complex solutions using scripting and programming languages.
- Design robust monitoring and advanced alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- Implement log aggregation and observability for Kubernetes environments using the ELK or EFK stack.
- Collaborate with team members, plan and organise work, and clearly report progress and issues.
- Travel within the UK for project work.
Requirements
- Effective communication, collaboration, planning, reporting, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of identity and access management, cloud networking, and cloud security best practices in Azure or AWS.
- Experience implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code in enterprise environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar CI/CD tools to design and implement pipelines.
- Ability to automate complex solutions using scripting or programming languages.
- Experience designing monitoring, alerting, log aggregation, and observability solutions with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK, or EFK.
- Willingness to undertake UK-based project travel.
- Right to work in the UK and ability to achieve UK Security Clearance.
- Experience with disaster recovery and high-availability solutions, multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures, and cloud cost optimisation is desirable.
- Relevant Azure, AWS, or Kubernetes certifications are desirable, including AZ-104, AZ-400, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
