Responsibilities
- Design and optimize AI-assisted development workflows using Cursor or equivalent tools.
- Integrate AI coding tools into codebase, CI/CD, and automated testing workflows.
- Create and maintain prompt libraries, templates, macros, and reusable development recipes.
- Audit, refine, and validate AI-generated code for quality, coherence, maintainability, performance, and security compliance.
- Train and mentor developers on effective use of Cursor and AI-driven development methods.
- Align AI-generated output with product, architecture, and engineering design principles.
- Define and monitor metrics including code quality, time saved, and refactoring success rate.
- Evaluate advances in LLM and AI code generation and recommend new tools and automation strategies.
Requirements
- Strong background in full-stack software development, ideally using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
- Proven mastery of Cursor or comparable AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cody, or Codex.
- Mandatory experience in prompt engineering and designing AI-assisted workflows.
- Strong testing, refactoring, and code-review abilities for enforcing quality in AI-generated code.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, performance optimization, and security best practices.
- Experience integrating with CI/CD systems, testing frameworks, and code linters.
- Excellent debugging and root-cause analysis skills, particularly for generated code that fails or diverges from expectations.
- Ability to document, teach, and promote AI-driven development methodologies.
