Responsibilities
- Develop wireless software solutions and implement new features for the Apollo Blue family.
- Perform code reviews, code optimization, refactoring, bug hunting, and bug fixing.
- Integrate and debug wireless components across the company platform and assist FAE teams with customer development issues.
- Produce unit, functional, integration, and interoperability tests, automating tests when advantageous.
- Work with product planning, validation, and system test teams to understand requirements, triage issues, and communicate open-issue status.
- Scope software development work, delegate tasks, identify resource and technical gaps, and tackle challenging technical issues with cross-functional support.
- Write technical documents including white papers, architecture diagrams, module descriptions, and API descriptions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Bluetooth/BLE wireless technology and Bluetooth software debugging using sniffer tools and protocol analyzers.
- Experience with Bluetooth host stacks and profiles; Bluetooth audio experience with HFP, A2DP, or LE Audio is highly desired.
- Familiarity with Git version control, unit tests, and continuous integration.
- Low-level software debugging experience using GDB, emulators, and JTAG.
- Expertise in performance and power optimization.
- Experience with Zephyr.
- Experience with peripheral protocols including I2C, I2S, MSPI, UART, PDM, and TDM.
- Experience with Zigbee or Thread is a plus.
- Strong communication and technical communication skills.
