Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable APIs and service workflows.
- Contribute to architecture and code design decisions across the team.
- Review code and maintain engineering standards, release quality, and development workflows.
- Investigate production issues, debug complex failures, and deliver robust fixes.
- Collaborate with embedded, web, mobile, product, and design teams on UniFi platform capabilities.
- Improve service reliability, observability, and developer experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of SIP, RTP, WebRTC, SDP, RTCP, TCP, and UDP.
- Experience configuring PBXs and building software for connected devices, infrastructure products, networking systems, or similarly complex environments.
- Understanding of web security, OWASP, browser security fundamentals, and OAuth.
- Strong debugging and defensive programming experience.
- Professional experience with Git, Unix/Linux, and Docker-based environments.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and communicate effectively in English.
- Applicants must live in Sweden and hold a valid work permit at the time of application.
- Experience with Rust or Go, gRPC, DevOps, CI/CD, build pipelines, and AI tools or LLMs is preferred.
