Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a scrum team to design, build, deploy, monitor, and manage highly performing and highly available production systems.
  • Write readable, maintainable, and efficient code for software applications.
  • Participate in code reviews, internal tool development, best-practice sharing, and process improvements.
  • Explore open-source and industry-standard solutions for organizational use.
  • Apply software design principles, design patterns, frameworks, and performance and maintainability considerations.
  • Evangelize new ideas and collaborate with developers and technical leads through regular mentoring and collaborative programming.

Requirements

  • At least 18 months of object-oriented programming experience in C#, Java, C++, or a similar language, gained through employment or schoolwork.
  • Demonstrated experience developing applications.
  • Understanding of programming and database concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication, confidence, ambition, flexibility, and self-motivation.
  • Advanced technical degree or related training is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and ReactJS is a plus but not required.
  • Cloud experience is a plus but not required.
