Responsibilities
- Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and OpenCode to rapidly build and iterate on production applications.
- Automate healthcare business workflows through custom tools, scripts, integrations, and low-code solutions.
- Develop and deploy LLM-based applications including document-processing systems, intelligent assistants, and data-extraction workflows.
- Build proof-of-concepts, monitor production usage, gather end-user feedback, and iterate on deployed AI solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate progress, tradeoffs, and solution options to non-technical stakeholders.
- Build agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, and AI assistants with tool use while selecting appropriate agentic or simpler approaches.
- Maintain security, privacy, compliance, operational reliability, and cost controls for AI solutions involving healthcare data.
- Evaluate emerging AI coding capabilities and provide input on AI tools, platforms, frameworks, and architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, OpenCode, or similar AI coding agents, with multiple shipped applications and the ability to explain techniques, workflows, and tradeoffs.
- A portfolio of AI-developed projects, such as GitHub repositories, deployed demos, or production systems.
- Experience deploying AI-powered applications used by real end users and maintaining AI systems in production.
- Experience automating manual workflows using custom scripts, integrations, or low-code platforms.
- Technical foundations in Python, TypeScript, web application development, SQL and databases, LLM APIs, prompt engineering, context engineering, and REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of transformers, neural networks, agentic loops, context, model capabilities, and model limitations.
- Ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks quickly with AI assistance.
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and evaluate technology frameworks and architectures.
