Responsibilities
- Act as the technical advisor for prospects and customers evaluating or scaling ClickHouse.
- Design reference architectures and data models tailored to customer use cases.
- Run technical proofs of concept and benchmarks to demonstrate ClickHouse's advantages.
- Partner with Account Executives to build technical account strategies and close deals.
- Deliver technical presentations and workshops to diverse audiences.
- Advise customers on schema design, query optimization, and migration strategies.
- Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer insights.
- Create reusable assets and technical content to scale impact across the team.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer.
- Deep hands-on experience with SQL and analytical/OLAP databases.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Comfort with modern data stack technologies including streaming systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to run technical evaluations and influence buying decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both engineers and executives.
- Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments and is responsible for revenue outcomes.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and team events.
