Base Salary
$135k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end solution and reference architectures across enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, cloud platforms, data, identity, and security.
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, resilient architectures and reusable capabilities.
- Provide architectural leadership across multiple sourcing and contracting products and guide engineering teams through solution design and delivery.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Platform Engineering, CloudOps, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and clients.
- Establish architecture standards, shared services, engineering practices, and reference architectures.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, scalability, performance, resiliency, availability, maintainability, observability, privacy, and compliance.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, tools, and libraries and lead proofs of concept and reference implementations.
- Mentor engineering teams in solution architecture, application design, cloud technologies, and modern engineering practices.
- Provide technical governance for solutions delivered by internal teams and implementation partners.
- Drive the long-term technical evolution of sourcing and contracting platforms.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale cloud-native and distributed systems using Microsoft Azure is required; comparable AWS architecture experience may be considered.
- Strong experience with application architecture, API design, integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems is required.
- Experience architecting solutions across multiple enterprise applications, products, or engineering teams is required.
- Proficiency with languages and frameworks such as Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, or React is required.
- Knowledge of enterprise security, governance, identity, authentication, authorization, and modern security architecture principles is required.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud integration services is required.
- Experience with strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, Contract Lifecycle Management, or related enterprise capabilities is preferred.
- A relevant degree and relevant cloud architecture or industry certifications are preferred.
