Base Salary
$135k - $237k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex, cross-domain data, analytics, and AI products.
- Define technical strategies, architectural blueprints, reference architectures, diagrams, and documentation for enterprise platforms.
- Design scalable data architectures, pipelines, semantic layers, domain models, and data products integrating clinical, spend, operational, and other enterprise data.
- Design AI/ML and generative AI architectures involving retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, agents, and large language model orchestration.
- Establish architectural standards for scalability, performance, reliability, security, governance, data quality, observability, and business continuity.
- Evaluate technologies and vendors, lead proofs of concept, and recommend solutions aligned with business and technology goals.
- Partner with product, engineering, data science, platform, and business teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
- Guide engineering teams in adopting architectural standards, frameworks, tools, and reusable solutions.
- Mentor engineering teams and advocate for consistent architecture practices across the enterprise.
Requirements
- Experience leading architecture for complex enterprise data, analytics, and AI solutions is required by the scope of the role.
- Experience designing enterprise data and analytics platforms using Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog is relevant to the role.
- Ability to design scalable data architectures, pipelines, semantic layers, domain models, and data products.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and generative AI architecture patterns, including RAG, embeddings, agents, and LLM orchestration.
- Ability to evaluate technologies, lead proofs of concept, establish architecture standards, and communicate trade-offs and recommendations to technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, data science, platform, and business stakeholders and mentor engineering teams.
