Base Salary
$99k - $183k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and troubleshoot software features and user stories.
- Develop and sustain front-end user interfaces and cloud-connected applications.
- Analyze customer requirements and ensure implementations meet functional requirements.
- Brief software designs and demonstrate release functionality to peers.
- Create distributed components and interactions aligned with the future system architecture.
- Collaborate with UX designers and cross-functional teams across large, multifaceted systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent education.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a CI polygraph after starting.
- At least one year of experience designing and developing software for complex systems, including distributed, multithreaded, or multiprocess applications.
- At least one year of experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience with distributed version control systems such as GitHub or IBM Rational Team Concert.
- Preferred qualifications include three or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred experience includes Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Firebug, JavaScript frameworks, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL, dependency management, cloud infrastructure, Jenkins, and GEOINT.
- Security certifications such as Security+ or CISSP are preferred.
- U.S. person status and U.S. citizenship are required for export control and security clearance compliance.
