Responsibilities
- Own Salesforce B2B Commerce Apex stories from design and implementation through unit testing, peer review readiness, and QA handoff.
- Develop Apex, optimized SOQL queries, REST API integrations, and commerce flow customizations.
- Collaborate with architects, QA engineers, integration leads, and client-side stakeholders on technical delivery and governance.
- Identify and address governor-limit, API, security, and performance risks.
- Participate in peer reviews, CI/CD adoption, test coverage improvements, and deployment governance.
- Provide code reviews, technical guidance, and day-to-day mentoring to analysts.
- Use Claude Code and participate in agentic AI sessions focused on development and delivery workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience is required.
- Hands-on Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud experience, including three or more years with commerce flows, pricing, entitlements, buyer experience customization, and data model configuration.
- Strong Salesforce Apex skills, including triggers, classes, asynchronous processing, governor limits, save points, rollback, and unit testing.
- Experience optimizing SOQL queries and managing governor-limit risks in high-volume transactional flows.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs within Salesforce, including versioning and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of payment and transaction patterns such as idempotency guards, cart conversion logic, and transactional rollback.
- Experience with SFDX, Git-based version control, and sprint-based delivery.
- Knowledge of Named Credentials, External Credentials, PII data models, or Seam B contract testing is desirable.
- Exposure to Salesforce Revenue Cloud, CPQ, OMS, or Salesforce Platform Developer and B2B Commerce certifications is desirable.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
