Responsibilities
- Design, implement, develop, and document projects integrating with internal and external systems.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, reliable, reusable, and cloud-based solutions.
- Use AWS services to develop and deliver business value.
- Recommend, evaluate, and make decisions about technologies, architectures, and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture reviews within and across teams.
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering partners in a cross-functional environment.
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement and engineering quality.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in modern, domain-driven, event-driven, and enterprise-scale serverless environments.
- Deep understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience in microservice-oriented environments.
- Experience designing, developing, and delivering serverless architectures, preferably with AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, and AWS EventBridge.
- Experience with relational and non-relational data design.
- Cloud-based security experience, preferably with AWS Secrets Manager.
- Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably with AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
- Strong knowledge of common design patterns and principles.
- Experience with TDD and testing frameworks, preferably Vitest or Jest.
- Experience designing and developing complex, robust, and highly scalable production services and applications.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
