Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain product and platform services and infrastructure for Atlassian Cloud.
- Develop scalable frontend applications, software libraries, tools, and applications for millions of users.
- Design, implement, integrate, tune, and troubleshoot new microservices and systems.
- Help shape the Atlassian Cloud Platform through greenfield projects and modern web architectures.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to build simple, consistent, and user-focused web experiences.
Requirements
- Strong experience and deep knowledge of JavaScript and ReactJS.
- Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
- Ability to write components in JavaScript or TypeScript and use existing libraries appropriately.
- Familiarity with React and ES6 features.
- Some industry experience with public cloud offerings such as AWS, GAE, or Azure.
- Understanding of web application, SOA, and microservices patterns.
- Knowledge of open-source libraries, tools, and frameworks for logging, wiring, testing, and building.
- Willingness and ability to learn new programming languages, frameworks, and paradigms.
- Interest in open source and ability to share knowledge and collaborate with teammates.
